About Mass of Redeeming Love:
Mass of Redeeming Love (2011), a setting of the official English language Mass texts, was composed for use at the Church of St. Peter during the implementation of the Roman Missal, Third Edition in 2011. The setting has been wildly successful at St. Peter's, encouraging assembly, Cantors, and choir alike to sing with gusto. It has also been used in other parishes within the Albany Diocese with success. The full accompaniment score includes separate settings for piano or organ accompaniments (for most of the selections), recognizing that these are two different instruments and hoping to get the most out of each. Guitar chords are also provided, along with SATB parts, Cantor and Assembly melodies, and optional brass for some of the selections, making it a versatile setting for various parish situations.
