About Psalm 27: The Lord Is My Light:

Psalm 27: The Lord Is MY Light (2025) is a setting of Psalm 27, emphasizing courage, hope, and trust in the Lord.  This simple Psalm setting is appropriate for liturgical use as a Responsorial Psalm, Offertory antiphon, or Communion antiphon.  It was premiered in 2025 as part of the liturgy of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord (known as Candlemas), a liturgy which emphasizes Christ as the light of the world.  Composed in memory of a friend who fought courageously against terminal cancer for nearly a decade, this setting is also appropriate as an edifying musical piece for a range of devotional and liturgical services and moments.
