About Psalm 96: Today Is Born Our Savior:
Psalm 96: Today Is Born Our Savior (2010) is a setting of the responsorial Psalm for Christmas in the Roman Catholic liturgy. It is a simple but festive setting, with a Refrain that is meant to be repeated twice after each verse to aid the Assembly in full participation. The verses are unmetered to allow for more natural speech patterns in their proclamation by the Cantor. For even greater festivity, additional parts are available for String Quartet.
