About The House of the Lord:

The House of the Lord (2013) was composed for the 175th Anniversary Year (2014) of the Church of St. Peter in Saratoga Springs, NY, where I serve as Music Director, and was used as the Processional Hymn for the Mass celebrating that anniversary.  Because of the festive nature of that celebration, I composed parts for brass trio to accompany this piece.  While the text is original, it sometimes paraphrases Scripture (as in the Refrain and first verse), but also reflects the events and Sacraments celebrated by God's people in the House of the Lord.  This piece makes for a wonderfully festive hymn that celebrates our common prayer and worship when we come together as Christians.  It is a great piece for parish/diocesan anniversaries or church dedications.

A Full Score with Brass Trio (and parts) is also available.  Below is a MIDI rendering of that full score.  As always, bear in mind that the MIDI choral sounds do not interpret text, so you will hear only "ah's" from the choral part.
