fünf showcases "Quintet for Winds" at 2016 International Horn Symposium

Fünf, the New York Greater Capital-Saratoga Region’s premier professional woodwind quintet, performs a variety of repertoire which includes traditional and contemporary wind literature as well as newly commissioned works. The members of fünf [Norman Thibodeau, flute ; Susan Kokernak, oboe ; Christine Barron, clarinet ; Gerald Lanoue, bassoon; Patrice Malatestinic, French horn] love performing, educating listeners, and premiering new music. I was fortunate to get the opportunity to collaborate with fünf for the premiere of my first woodwind quintet at St. Peter's Church in Saratoga Springs in August 2015. And even more fortunate to have them showcase Quintet for Winds at the International Horn Symposium that was held in Ithaca, NY in June 2016. Bravo fünf!
